Ofsted, results and school performance

We are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience for every learner and we are proud to share our performance, progress and achievements with our families and community.

These reflect the incredible work of our learners, the dedication of our team, and the supportive partnership we have with parents and carers.

We use this information to celebrate our successes and to continue improving and refining our teaching and learning.

While test results are only one part of the story, they help us to track progress and ensure all our learners are achieving their full potential.

We believe that every child’s journey is unique, and we are proud of the progress and achievements our learners make every day.

What Oftsed said:

"Warm, positive relationships are the beating heart of Newquay Primary Academy. Pupils display immense pride in being a part of this school community. Pupils’ excellent attendance reflects how much they enjoy school."

"Pupils show a thirst for learning. This starts as soon as they enter the vibrant early years environment. Pupils respond well to the high expectations of behaviour staff expect, both in the classroom and around the school site."

"The school is rightly proud of its work with pupils beyond the academic. Meaningful experiences such as performing and recording songs to raise money for a local food bank are strategically woven into the curriculum. This helps pupils to become caring, empathetic citizens."

"The school’s unrelenting focus on the curriculum and ensuring pupils learn it well, results in pupils receiving an exceptional education. Continual high-quality training means staff at all levels are highly knowledgeable about the subjects they teach."

The national school performance tables are based on how 11-year-olds in each school perform in national curriculum tests – or SATs – taken at the end of primary school.

Newquay Primary Academy opened to Reception pupils in September 2021. We are currently not included in the national school performance tables.
