Our school uniform helps create a sense of belonging and pride in our school community. We expect all learners to wear the correct uniform each day and we aim to keep it simple, comfortable and affordable for families.

Main school uniform:

• Dark blue academy-badged sweater/cardigan
• Light blue cotton, long or short sleeved, buttoned polo shirt
• Grey tailored trousers or shorts (not tight, lycra or denim)
• Grey skirt or pinafore dress (knee length)
• Grey, black or dark blue tights (no leggings)
• Pain black socks
• Plain black shoes – no boots which exceed ankle height (trainers, trainer-type shoes, canvas shoes are allowed)
• Blue and white gingham dress (summer term only)
• Reception children will need to bring a pair of wellington boots and a wet weather suit on their first day of term, which can be kept at school for the duration of their first year

PE kit:

• Light blue academy badged t-shirt
• Black shorts
• Suitable footwear for physical activities
• Headbands should be worn (or hair fastened back) by pupils who have long hair in PE

Don’t forget to clearly mark all children’s clothing with their name.

Jewellery and accessories

• children should not wear jewellery to school; children who have their ears pierced should wear a pair of small studs that can be removed by the child (or adult at home) for PE days
• children may wear a watch to school; we encourage the use of analogue watches to practice the skill of telling the time, but if digital watches are worn, they should have no additional features or functionality (e.g. messaging, calling, photography, gaming)
• smart watches are not allowed in school
• Should you wish to discuss specific reasons for your child to wear jewellery, please contact the school directly.

Most school uniform can be purchased (without logos) from local supermarkets.

School jumpers, cardigans, polo shirts, PE t-shirts, bookbags and PE bags can be purchased from Macron Store South West.

We also hold regular ‘pre-loved’ uniform sales after school and at school events (e.g. summer and Christmas fayres). Please contact the school office to find out when the next event is, or to enquire about the availability of certain items.
