We are delighted to be supporting the NSPCC by taking part in Number Day today.
The NSPCC need our support more than ever. By raising money, we can help to fund their vital services such as Childline – the helpline that’s always there for children and young people whatever their problem or concern.
Number Day is a great way to make maths fun and bring about a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards it.
Not only are our pupils having a fun day of maths activities, they all took part in Dress up for Digits – a non-uniform day that celebrated numbers in some way.
Joshua class have been learning what makes a pair and playing games to see what they notice when we use odd and even numbers. The children also measured dinosaurs with cubes, counted dinosaurs and made repeating dino patterns.

In Tamar class, the children sang a song inspired by the 5 times table, played number-themed games and used counting pebbles to practice their addition and subtraction.
